For applicants: studying in New Zealand

Everything for applying to study in New Zealand: choosing a programme, costs, intakes, English, student and work visas, family and degree recognition.

This section is for anyone planning to study in New Zealand: how to choose a programme, what it costs, when to apply, what English you need, how to get a student visa, bring your family and stay to work after you graduate. Every figure on these pages comes from official sources (Immigration New Zealand, NZQA, provider websites) with a link and a date: visa rules change several times a year, and we update the pages when they do.

If you are not sure where to start, open Master's in New Zealand or Online bachelor's degree, then Cost of study and living. Programmes at nine New Zealand providers are in Programs and courses.
