Privacy Policy

Privacy policy of Nairi International University: what data the site collects, why it is collected and how the university handles it.

This Policy explains what personal data Nairi International University (NAIRI INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY ONLINE COMMUNITY SpA, Chile) processes in connection with the use of nairiuniversity.com, why it is needed, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted.

Version of 25 September 2026.

1. Who processes the data

The data controller is NAIRI INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY ONLINE COMMUNITY SpA, RUT 77.928.614-2, Reñaca Nte. 265, Of. 510, Viña del Mar, Valparaíso, Chile. For any question about data processing write to info@nairiuniversity.com.

The University decides the scope of the data it processes and does not collect more than the purposes below require.

2. What data we process

Data you provide yourself. Name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number — as far as you entered them in the application form, in an email or in correspondence with the admissions office. If you write to us on Telegram, we receive the username and chat identifier that Telegram passes to the recipient of a message.

Data generated automatically. Browser type and version, language, screen size, timestamps, the address of the entry page and the referring address, and an anonymised visitor identifier. IP addresses are processed by the web analytics providers on their own terms.

Advertising parameters. utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term and click identifiers (gclid, fbclid, yclid and similar) if you arrived through an advertisement.

The University does not request or process special categories of personal data — health, religious or political views and the like.

3. Cookies and web analytics

The site uses its own cookies and third-party counters. We list them by name so that your decision can be an informed one.

Our own cookies. Available to this site only; they let us see which advertisement brought a visitor:

Cookie Purpose Lifetime
niu_cid Anonymised visitor identifier: links several visits into one enquiry history 730 days
niu_attr Parameters of the campaign that brought the visitor 730 days
niu_touchpoints Short history of touches — which pages preceded the enquiry 730 days

Third-party counters. They set their own cookies and pass data to their owners on those owners' terms:

Service Identifier Owner
Google Analytics 4 G-TQ9VC257H8 Google LLC
Yandex Metrica 113019204 Yandex LLC

Yandex Metrica on this site uses the Session Replay ("Webvisor") technology: it records anonymised on-page actions — cursor movement, scrolling, clicks and typing — so that we can see where visitors run into difficulty. The contents of form fields are masked in the recording.

How to opt out. Cookies can be blocked or deleted in your browser settings: the site keeps working, but we stop distinguishing traffic sources. The services themselves also offer opt-outs — Google Analytics opt-out and Yandex Metrica opt-out. Opting out of analytics cookies does not affect the processing of data you gave us yourself.

4. Purposes of processing

Data is processed for defined purposes:

  • answering your enquiry and advising on programmes and admission;
  • reviewing an application and supporting the admission process;
  • informing you about programmes, intakes and university events;
  • measuring the effectiveness of advertising channels and improving the site;
  • complying with applicable law.

Data is not processed for purposes incompatible with those listed without separate consent.

Processing is based on your consent, given by submitting a form, an email or a message, and on other lawful bases: the necessity of performing our obligations to you and the legitimate interests of the University. Consent can be withdrawn at any time — see section 8.

6. Who the data is shared with

How to withdraw consent or delete your data. Write to info@nairiuniversity.com with the subject "Data deletion" and state the email address or phone number you gave us. That is enough: no separate form and no account are required.

Requests are fulfilled within 30 days. We delete the contact details and the enquiry history and confirm completion to the same address. Some records may be kept longer where the law expressly requires it; in that case we state the ground in our reply.

To stop receiving email — use the unsubscribe link in any message, or the same request.
