About the programme
The Master of Management is a NZQF Level 9 programme at Yoobee Colleges worth 180 credits that prepares professionals from varied backgrounds for senior leadership over 45 weeks, split into three trimesters. It is geared to a digital, globally connected business environment.
Trimester one covers the fundamentals of financial management, New Zealand's social and political environment, project management and research methods. Trimester two brings core courses in change management and business strategy, plus courses in one of two specialisations: Strategic Leadership and Change Management, covering organisational resilience, risk and cross-cultural leadership, or Digital Innovation and Sustainable Business, covering sustainable business and digital innovation.
The third trimester is an industry-based capstone research project on a real challenge linked to the chosen specialisation. Throughout, students look at how organisations respond to new technology, AI, sustainability demands and global pressures. Teaching is practical, with small classes, individual support and tutors who work in industry.
The programme is full-time and campus-based in Auckland and Christchurch, with attendance required, though face-to-face classes take under 10 hours a week and the rest is independent study. Students need their own laptop. Graduates can go on to further postgraduate study, including doctoral programmes.
