Admission Board

In addition to providing high-level online education, at Nairi University we pride ourselves on the flexibility and accessibility of education that helps all our students around the world to succeed. As an online university, Nairi University accepts students aged 16 and older. Students can be of any nationality and live anywhere in the world.
Our credo is Education outside politics.
Students under the age of 16 can be accepted after a special, careful study of all circumstances and personal abilities. The student's student or his representatives should, by petitioning the university administration, state their position in detail. The application form for admission of a minor student must be accompanied by an updated high school transcript (or equivalent), letters of support from the principal or designated high school student, as well as from a parent or guardian. Permission must also be obtained from the course coordinator responsible for the course. The interview will be arranged with the course coordinator after receiving the course registration form.

Academic performance in other higher education institutions does not prevent you from being accepted to NU, but it can be taken into account if you enroll in a certain program. If you were expelled from another higher education institution for reasons of academic misconduct, you may be denied admission or enrollment to NU.

Be sure to read the section of admission requirements in each course/program and on the webpage here, as well as the the crosscredit subjects section.

NU students
Students of the program study in any of the bachelor's degrees, diplomas or certificates offered by NU. Students who transfer from the unclassified (non-program/attending) to the program category can use credits earned in the unclassified (non-program/attending) categories, provided that the course(s) meets the requirements of the program, including any restrictions on the characteristics of the course, if applicable. There is no deadline for applying for admission to a bachelor's degree program. Applications are accepted all year round.

Since the program rules may change, students should remember the program rules in effect at the time of their enrollment. Students who are admitted to a program that has any entry requirements for admission will follow the degree rules in effect after completing the cross-credit process of disciplines.

Invited students
Those students who are enrolled in a program at another institution and take part of the program at NU to help fulfill their requirements for the chosen program. Invited students are advised to obtain a letter of authorization from their home institution before registering for the NU course. This ensures that the home university will accept the NU course in the visiting student program.
Invited students must request a transcript to be sent to their home institution after completing the course(s).
Unclassified (extracurricular) students
The non-classified NU category includes students from other higher education institutions who take NU courses for admission or transfer to another educational institution. The total number of courses that can be studied by students is not limited.

Note: It is important to note that NU does not evaluate previous education and does not award transferable credits for students in an unclassified category. If a student wishes to move from an unclassified category to a program student category, a request for evaluation of any previously completed higher education courses can be made at any time after selection and admission to NU programs.

Category of pre-enrollment
Although most bachelor's degrees have open admission, there are some that require documentation and assessment prior to admission (see specific program rules). In these cases, students will be admitted to the pre-enrollment category until the documentation is evaluated. Once this process is completed, students will be informed of their admission status.

Confirmation of your enrollment as a student of the program without a previous education assessment will be available on your portal the next day after processing your application and paying the cost of your chosen study program.
After you are admitted online to courses or programs at NU, you will immediately be assigned a NU student ID number to confirm your admission.

If you need help choosing courses for your chosen program, please contact our Consulting Service.

All students are required to comply with the program rules in force at the time of their enrollment. If you register for the program, then you are responsible for choosing courses that comply with the rules and requirements of the program in force on the day of your registration. If you are enrolling in a program that has entrance requirements for admission, you will follow the program's degree rules.

Admission requirements

The prerequisites ensure that you have the necessary experience to successfully complete the course. Before registering, you must make sure that you have met all the course/program prerequisites and requirements.
Some courses require the approval of the professor and other prerequisites associated with the course. Failure to meet these pre-registration requirements will result in a delay or denial of your registration.

Individual educational courses

Individualized education is the most common method of teaching and learning at Nairi University.
At NU, courses start on the first day of each month, provided that you register before the 10th day of the previous month.
The course price includes all the study materials required for the course.

Educational materials

Your course package will include various course materials that are defined in the online course program. In some courses, course materials are available entirely online, and they are accessed online.
Your Lecturer

After you register for an individual study course, an email containing the name, address, email address, phone number and hours of the instructor will be sent to you approximately ten days before the start date of your course. By default, the method of delivery of student information is an email. If you have not received a letter from the lecturer a week before the start date of the course or have lost your letter, please contact us as soon as possible.

Your lecturer will help you throughout the course. Lecturers participate in scientific discussions, mark assignments, provide feedback and help prepare you for exams. Never hesitate to contact your teacher. He or she is your primary link to NU.
You can contact your teacher on the day the course starts, but not before.
Due to vacation, usually during the summer months, your teacher may be unavailable for ten working days. If you are absent for more than 10 working days, other measures will be taken to ensure your education.
