Exams

In all programs and courses there is a curator of education and a lecturer. You should discuss your readiness for exams with them, as well as agree on the dates of the exams, if they are not approved in the program in advance.
You must pass all exams before the contract expires, except for late exam requests.
Remember that the time close to the end of the month is in great demand, and exams are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Exam completion dates
All exam deadlines are based on the end date of your course or program, which can be viewed in the description of your program.
You can write an exam at any time during the term of the course/program contract.
If you apply for a late exam, it must be received before the expiration date of your contract. You must schedule an entry date that is within 30 days before the end date of the course contract.
Regardless of when you write the exam, all coursework (e.g. assignments, tests, or term papers) must be completed by the end date of the course contract.

Additional exams
If you are dissatisfied with your exam score, you can try an additional exam (rewrite the exam). A higher grade will be used in calculating your final course grade. You request an additional exam using the normal exam request process, but you will have to pay an additional exam fee of USD 20.

Rescheduling exams
If you are unable to write the exam on the requested date, you can reschedule the exam for up to 30 working days after the original writing date.
To reschedule the exam, contact your lecturer or program curator.

Reservation of exams

Simple 3-step exam reservation process

Reservation exams at Nairi University is simple and requires no more than 3 basic steps:
Step 1: Get information from your teacher
We recommend that you first consult with your teacher to discuss how prepared and ready you are to move on to the examination phase of your course. They will be able to give you an objective assessment and help you plan the next steps in case you are not quite ready to take the exam yet.
Step 2: Organize the time and place
Select the date and time to write.
Step 3: Fill out the Exam Request Form
Now that you have all the necessary information, please prepare for the exam properly.

Everything is ready!
What are additional exams and how can I request them?
If you are not satisfied with the grade you received on the exam score, you have the option to ask for and write 1 additional exam for each intermediate or final exam required in your course. The higher of the 2 exams will be used to calculate your final course grade.
Note: Additional exams do not apply to assignments, tests or term papers.

Here's how it working:
Nairi University charges a non–refundable fee for each additional exam - $20. To avoid any delays, you should make sure that this fee is attached to the exam request form, as it was when you submitted it. To request an additional exam, you need to fill out and send the exam request to NUHere's how it working, so that it arrives no later than 90 calendar days after the date you wrote your initial exam. As with any exam requests, we must receive your request for an additional exam within the official request period and the deadline for the completion of the program.

What if I can't write my exam on the date I booked?
If for some reason you are unable to attend the exam on the scheduled writing date, then you will have the opportunity to request its writing later. New arrangements must be made with the teacher, and you do not need to submit a new exam request to NU. It is important to make sure that your examiner is available on the new record date.

How does NU handle late exam requests?
If your request is received outside the deadline of the examination request, it will still be processed. That is, if you make a request after the end date of your program (with the exception of additional exams), and the exam is written no later than 30 days after the end date of this course. Keep in mind that this is not an extension of the training, so the support of the teacher will not continue. All term papers must also be submitted before the end date of your program.
Please allow time to process your request — timely completion of the late exam cannot be guaranteed. Take a look at the deadlines for applying for the exam, which we outlined above.

Can I be asked to rewrite the exam?
Yes, it is possible. At NU, we may ask you to rewrite the exam under certain circumstances.
On the day of the exam
  1. Make sure that the computer is connected to the network and ready to work. A dead computer battery or having to stop to reconnect during an exam can cost you valuable exam time.
  2. You may need to restart your computer before the exam session. This will help prevent the creation of background or unauthorized programs during the exam session.
  3. If you can, we suggest you connect your computer to the Internet using a wired connection. This way you will have a more stable and reliable internet signal in case your Wi-Fi slows down. Writing an exam physically next to a Wi-Fi router can also help maintain a reliable internet connection.
  4. Make sure that your physical space is cleared of unauthorized resources and ready for the exam. This space includes your desk, walls and floors around the exam work area, as well as any other surface that may contain secondary monitors, posters, tablets, etc.
  5. Don't forget about the virtual exam space. Make sure that unauthorized notes and programs are closed and unavailable during the exam.
  6. The presence of a photo identification card (ID) issued by the government. Remember that the name on it must exactly match your name in your NU account.
  7. Exhale and calmly proceed to the exam itself. If the teacher has allowed you to take the exam, then you are ready for it, excitement will only hinder you.
